Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve is an untouched jewel, having been recently revitalised with wildlife and new management, this reserve is going from strength to strength. Day trips into the park allow you to watch Buffalo/Njiati avoiding the Nile Crocodile/Ng’ona on the banks of the mighty Bua River. Perhaps you’d rather wander inland to gaze upon herds of Impala, spotting the large but conspicuous Kudu or maybe the elegant Sable. Remember to look out for the Waterbuck and his characteristic white ring on his rump (legend says he accidentally sat on a pot of paint!)
Park trips can be self-driven or guided game drives or walking safaris can be arranged upon request.
